- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with the understanding of basic concepts, approaches, and research methods of psycholinguistics.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will understand basic topics and methods of psycholinguistics and develop the ability to relate psycholinguistic topics to foreign language teaching.
- Syllabus
- 1. Paradigms and methods of psycholinguistics; cognition, biological foundations of language. 2. First and second language acquisition, factors influencing language acquisition, speech and language disorders 3. Speech production 4. Speech perception and comprehension, mental lexicon, reading and writing

- study of recommended materials (see study support and recommended study literature), individual written assignments, face-to-face meetings combining lecture and discussions of the subject matter

- active participation in face-to-face meetings, four written assignments, written test (60% of correct answers are required to pass the test)
