- To foster practical application of knowledge gained during the lectures in the Teaching Language Systems course.

- A student will demonstrate knowledge of language systems to a level that is sufficient for Teaching Practice and will gain the ability to apply the knowledge when analysing and evaluating teaching materials and pedagogical situations.

- 1. Introduction to the teaching of different types of language planning, accuracy, fluency and complexity. 2. Grammar, types of language presentation. 3. Vocabulary. 4. Means of checking of understanding. 5. Pronunciation. 6. Functional language. 7. Role of error in language teaching and ways of working with errors. 8. Additional materials.
