Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the understanding of basic concepts, approaches, and research methods of psycholinguistics.
Learning outcomes
Students will understand basic topics and methods of psycholinguistics and develop the ability to relate psycholinguistic topics to foreign language teaching.

  • 1. Paradigms of psycholinguistics. 2. Methods of psycholinguistics. 3. Language, cognition, biological foundations of language. 4. Factors influencing language acquisition. 5. First language acquisition. 6. Second language acquisition. 7. Bilingualism, multilingualism. 8. Speech and language disorders. 9. Mental lexicon. 10. Speech production. 11. Speech perception. 12. Reading and writing.
