Cíle předmětu
The student will gain a basic orientation in general psychological concepts and phenomena.
Výstupy z učení
Students will acquire basic knowledge and skills in the field of general psychology, which enable orientation in professional psychological texts, reports and recommendations. They will prove knowledge of basic psychological concepts which are prerequisite for understanding the pedagogical process of foreign language teaching.
Osnova
1. The subject of psychology and the most general psychological concepts. Development of psychological thinking and basic psychological paradigms. 2. Overview of the main groups of mental phenomena. 3. Methods of psychology. Non-test methods. 4. Mental processes – processes of visual cognition. 5. Thinking and speech. 6. Memory processes and motivational processes. 7. Mental states. Activation. 8. Acquired dispositions – knowledge, skills. 9. Personality qualities – abilities. 10. Personality qualities – traits, temperament, character. 11. Personality – formation and structure 12. Personality – factors of mental development. 13. Personality – motivation, motivation to learn. 14. Learning – definition, structure, components. Types of learning and its transfer.
Metody hodnocení
At least 80% attendance at lectures, elaboration of individual written work. Self-study of obligatory and recommended literature.
