Course objectives (in Czech)
The student will gain a basic orientation in adult learning and education in the context of individual and social qualities in the range of intrapersonal (personality), interpersonal (social) and social.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
The student will gain knowledge of the basics of social psychology and its context in education, in relation to the target group of adults. He will also be able to apply socio-psychological aspects in adult education.

  • Topics: 1. Socialization. Social learning. Social development of personality. 2. Social perception. 3. Interaction and communication between people. Social communication and social influences in communication. 4. Nonverbal communication. 5. Emotions. The emotional intelligence. Empathy. Emotional aspects of adult learning and education. Psychological aspects of examinations and evaluation. 6. Types of stress and strategies for their management. Stress and stress reactions in adult education. 7. Personality in difficult life situations – conflicts. 8. Self-realization. Human beings as a part of society. 9. Social attitudes. Attitudes to learning. Teacher attitudes as a motivating element in education. Social motivation. 10. Small social group. Conformity. 11. Social climate.
