Cíle předmětu
This Creative Writing course is tailored for aspiring English teachers with a C1+ proficiency level in English, as defined by the CEFR. The course is designed to nurture teachers' creativity through the art of written expression, equipping them with innovative approaches to teaching English that are both experiential and playful. Participants will be encouraged to explore and gain inspiration for alternative teaching methods, fostering a more engaging and fun learning environment. Additionally, the course aims to enhance participants' English language skills, with a focus on expanding vocabulary, and deepening stylistic awareness. Students will have the opportunity to select topics and genres that resonate with them—such as short stories, poetry, diary entries, and more. They will regularly produce texts of varying lengths and focuses within these chosen genres. Feedback is a critical component of the course. Participants will receive comprehensive feedback from both the instructor and their peers, enabling them to refine and improve their writing continuously. Writing is approached as a process rather than merely a final product. Therefore, significant emphasis is placed on all stages of the writing process: planning, drafting, and revising. This approach encourages students to develop a more thoughtful and reflective writing practice.
